Our Story: Why We Were Created

It all began with a simple idea: bringing the power of STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math—to our community. We saw a need to create opportunities for an underserved population where access to these vital resources was limited.

From the beginning, we recognized a challenge: STEM education in our community was often confined to the classroom. For many, the learning stopped when the school day ended. This gap inspired us to act. We envisioned a place where learners could explore and develop STEM skills beyond the traditional school environment, at times that fit their lives.

Since starting our organization, we’ve connected with members of the community and gained a deeper understanding of the need. Resources for STEM are scarce, and opportunities to prepare for STEM careers are even harder to find. That’s why we designed our programs to go beyond the school day, offering hands-on learning when school is out of session. We aim to empower kids and young adults to build on what they’ve learned in school and take it to the next level.

Our mission is clear: to make STEM accessible to our youth and equip them with the tools they need to thrive in STEM careers. Together with our community, we’re creating a brighter future—one filled with curiosity, innovation, and opportunity.
