Story
It goes without saying that 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone.
Like many charities, the Pirate Toy Fund has been forced to cancel many of our annual fundraisers like the Christie Simonetti Golf Tournament.
Because of the current economic situation, we’re expecting a surge in the need for toys this year.
While many parents continue the struggle to balance employment and care for their children, we want to make sure every child-in-need in the Greater Rochester region will receive toys throughout the year, and especially during the holiday season.
Please help us by sponsoring your favorite carousel jockey (team member) as they lend a hand attempting a two-hour ride aboard The Strong Museum's Elaine Wilson Carousel to raise money for our organization.
The jockey that raises the most money and completes the ride, wins! But more importantly, the children win.
