2020 Virtual Annual Walk for Life
Wednesday 10:53 PM - Sunday 10:53 PM EDT
It is going to be a Virtual Event with a drop off donation option on Saturday, September 19th at our Abiding Hope Center. Keep an eye out for Updates and Testimonies leading up to September 19th!!
Abiding Hope has been located in Mars Hill for 5 years. We serve women and families in Madison and North Buncombe Counties. We have a wonderful Board which includes our Chairman, Steve Honeycutt and Vice Chairman, Clark Henderson. Our clients are women/men that face an unplanned pregnancy or are already parenting but need help. We help by providing pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting classes, and a maternity/baby closet.
Our goal is for women and families to choose life if they are thinking about terminating, by showing the baby they are carrying inside of them. When women and families are discouraged and need additional resources, we get them connected to what they need. But, sharing the love of Christ is the most important thing we do. We know that is what they need most as they are chasing worldly things to fill that hole that God created just for Him.
The only way we are able to show them the Truth about the life they are carrying and the Truth about Christ is by operating off of donations. We get our funds from businesses, churches and individuals from our own community. By doing that, everything we do is 100% free to our clients.
Our Annual Walk for Life is our Big Fundraiser! Normally we would get together walk and Celebrate Life but, this year we won't be able to. While we can't physically get together...we still need to celebrate Life!!
Get outside and walk where you are! Get Sponsors! Take Pictures and Tag us!
Donate online anytime or drop off your donation on Saturday, September 19th from 11am - 3pm at our Abiding Hope Center! If you are able to make it then you can get some Abiding Hope goodies!!
