2021 was a banner year for the dignity of our older friends at Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly (LBFE). Thanks to supporters like you, our programs made a profound impact this year:

LBFE launched Digital Dividends, a city-wide program where groups of university students work with groups of older friends in public senior housing to learn that technology doesn’t need to be intimidating.
We hosted safe summer cookouts and intergenerational holiday programs as well as holiday telephone calls to friends.
We expanded activities for Chinese and Spanish-speaking elders in Boston.

Too many Boston elders still struggle alone and accept being isolated in a youth-oriented world as the new normal of aging. But no one should accept elder isolation as normal.
