Venus Woods' Story
Friends, and community, I am the Director of HIV Prevention and Education with the Four A's. I wanted to take a moment to share with you the importance of some of the work we do here. Through our prevention efforts at the Four A's we operate the only syringe service program in the greater Anchorage Mat-Su area. We distribute anywhere from 800,000 to over 1 million sterile syringes and safe injection supplies, we also give out Narcan kits, Fentanyl test strips, and condoms. Four A's Fun Run/Walk will be held virtually. Tie up those sneakers, choose your route, and run/walk a 5k in support of HIV Care and Prevention services in Alaska! All adults, youth, and furry friends welcome and encouraged to participate.

Being a virtual 5k - you can run/walk ANY TIME before the event's end on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022.
If you wish to do some other type of activity (bike, roller skate, tap dance, etc), feel free to substitute for running/walking !
