Starting June 1st and going until June 26th, the Cheshire Community YMCA will have 26 volunteers doing running/swimming/biking/walking for 2.6 miles per day or some sort of physical exercise for 26 minutes in memory of the 26 lives lost in the Sandy Hook shooting. Funds raised help us honor Chase Kowalski by providing a FREE triathlon camp for kids aged 6-12 in each of our communities. Jason participated in the Race 4 Chase program for the past 3 summers and it was extremely meaningful experience for our family and made an impact on jason personally. This year to honor Chase and to give back to the program that gave so much to our family Jason has committed to raising funds by accepting donations and agreeing to exercise for 26 minutes for 26 days in honor of the number of beautiful lives lost that day at sandy hook.
