Meet Star, the newest member of the Wild Heart Family! 

Earlier this week, we were contacted by kindhearted horse angels and asked if we could assist with an urgent placement of this beautiful Mare, Star. She is a wild mustang from the Sulphur herd, a Spanish herd that survived for decades with little influence from the outside world in the remote juniper-covered valleys of Utah's Mountain Home Range. Star comes from a line of one of the purest herds of Spanish horses left in America. Sonya, the founder of Wild Heart Sanctuary, agreed to give this beauty a forever retirement home at our sanctuary. We are thrilled to welcome this lovely mare to the Wild Heart tribe! ⭐️.  Star and Giraffe have become best friends.  Since they are both senior mares, we call them the "Golden Girls".
