She’s a mother, wife, avid animal lover, thoroughbred racehorse advocate, healthcare staffing specialist and recently was crowned Mrs. Nebraska American. Meet Jamie Vollmer a 29-year-old from Elkhorn, NE who is on a mission to make a difference every day. In January 2019 Jamie found her sobriety after a long battle with addiction in her life. Now 2 years and 5 months later she is prepping for the Mrs. American stage hosted in Las Vegas, NV this November. Her platform is “Sober, Sexy, Strong.” Her mission is to encourage and educate the sober curious community while also supporting those currently battling addiction. She lives everyday like it’s her last and hopes to inspire others to be the best they can be inside and out. Her favorite quote is “If your why is big enough, you will figure out the how.”

Jamies dad is a retired Army National Guard CSM. He deployed overseas several times. She is walking this 50 miles in honor of him!
