Since its inception, AMP has engaged over 100,000 youth in programs designed to cultivate the next generation of global citizens. Our immersive flagship program, Global Scholar, provides youth leaders with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to enable them to participate in lifelong advocacy and community-building efforts. Participants engage with global issues through direct interaction with experts, hands-on Action Labs, and collaborative project work.

The program is distinctive in its youth-led and peer-driven model, placing youth at the helm of learning and leadership. This bottom-up approach amplifies youth voices, strengthens their sense of ownership over pressing issues, and instills a deep commitment to community resilience. Sessions are designed and delivered by youth leaders, creating a collaborative learning space where participants can share experiences, explore solutions, and develop lasting connections that sustain them in their advocacy journeys.

Approximately 60% of our participants come from marginalized backgrounds, providing a critical opportunity for young leaders to build their civic literacy and find power in their unique voices. By facilitating discussions that blend identity, culture, and social justice, the program enables participants to develop a nuanced understanding of their roles within the global landscape and the importance of active engagement in addressing social challenges. By equipping youth with essential ingenuity in civic literacy, project management, and community leadership, our program cultivates leaders who carry these lessons into their education, careers, and community, creating a cycle of empowered young people ready to advocate for justice and inclusion.
