Conversations with presenters and panelists from the economic development, tourism, human services, government and business sectors will yield insight into Northern Kentucky’s collaboration-driven success as well as how they will build beyond today’s strengths.

The Northern Kentucky region which neighbors Cincinnati, OH, is often cited as an example of where Southern Indiana could be in the next 15-20 years. The parallels are shocking: it’s a three-county region with multiple cities along the river and beyond; NKY’s relationship with its northern neighbor comes with all the challenges and opportunities we recognize from our years as a “bedroom community” to Louisville; it’s the same river with one of the same states; Their population of 394,000 equals 22% of the MSA population. We often attribute their outsized success to the airport but a deeper dive during this trip will reveal that it has taken much more than a single asset to build a power region. 4108 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150, USA
