Camp Blodgett's Fall Celebration Bike Ride

Saturday, October 16th, 8:00 AM – 6:52 PM EDT

Add to Calendar 2021-10-16 08:00:00 2021-10-16 18:52:00 America/New_York Camp Blodgett's Fall Celebration Bike Ride FOR EASIER TO READ EVENT DETAILS, PLEASE VISIT: campblodgett.org/cb100bikeride ⁂ This ride is an out & back. It starts & ends on Camp Blodgett's barn property, just across the street from their lakeshore campus. It's a southbound route for this inaugural ride due to bridge work being done along our original course going north. *18+ Up, & helmet required Parking: On the property catty-corner from the Camp Blodgett summer lodging area. *There will be signs. 8a 1st roll out 10a is last roll out! The After-Ride Party will start just past noon & last until right before sunset, 6p. You're in charge of making it back to celebrate being one of the Newest Adventure Makers in West Michigan! It will meander down paved bike path through the gorgeous fall fauna as you catch glimpses of the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. There will be "recharge" stations along the route with water, snacks & smiling-cheering faces! We of course encourage you to carry water & snacks with you but this is for re-enforcement & variety. 2 of the stops will be at breweries where you can have one & head back or keep on til sunset! There will be mobile mechanical assistance as well as Ride Rangers that ride with everyone in order to help with any quick mechanical issues that may arise. You choose your mileage, anywhere from 20 to 62 miles (a metric century!). Once you arrive back, you'll roll into to a Welcome Party at Camp Blodgett where you will be treated to 2 adult beverages while you enjoy LIVE entertainment. DJ Venus Flytrap & DJ Tony Banks will get the party started and keep the vibe going until just before sunset. Cabildo is bound to bring us a Hot set! Tamales Mary is bringing their food truck out to the party. We are looking for a dessert truck if you want to email us. There will be the opportunity for additional adult beverages with the purchase of extra drink tickets that will be sold via QR codes posted along the fences. Cash is always good too! The $50 fee includes: Entry to event Title of West Michigan Adventure Maker 2- drink coupons Swag bag & All of the dancing you can do at our after-ride party! Additional pledges from friends & family encouraged but let us not forget to ask at work, employers often participate in matching their employees contributions! *All tax deductible If you want to support this great cause but don't want to ride a bike about it, join us at the After Ride Party! Your $25 ticket comes with 2 drink tickets to quench your thirst while you dance the afternoon away. *18+, ID required
