I'm a lifetime child welfare social worker and even trained as a CASA in college! I've been working for the Division of Family and Children Services for eighteen years almost exclusively in foster care and adoptions. I began my career in Athens Clarke County as a foster care case manager in 2002 and am honored to help celebrate their 30th birthday! I've challenged Mary Barrett Yancey my DFCS colleague who is the Clarke and Oconee County DFCS Director to see who can get the most "votes" (by raising the most money) and the top earner will take a CAKE TO THE FACE to celebrate CASA!
