Just a little over 20 years ago I began my social work career in the Athens-Oconee area. About a year ago I returned to Clarke and Oconee to serve as the DFCS County Director for both counties. I have always valued the work done by CASA programs and their advocacy for children in foster care. I am excited to celebrate Athens-Oconee CASA's 30th birthday. My friend and colleague, Audrey Brannen, made a bold decision that she and I would make this a competition. We have agreed that whoever raises the most money will take a CAKE TO THE FACE to celebrate CASA!
