Keith Austin's Story

Thank you for helping me reach my goal for St. Jude! This is a challenge that I am excited to push myself for. I would have never guessed that I would summit a glaciated peak. It is an extremely physically demanding effort that I am proud to do to help kids battling cancer!

To train for this extreme challenge, I spent a week on MT. Rainier for glacier and crevasse rescue training. It was snowing almost the whole time! You can see this Texan braving the snow below.

I am pushing my body daily as I continue strengthening my legs for this challenge. The oxygen at 20,000 ft will be so thin that every step will be a hard fought battle.

Thank you for helping me support St Jude on the climb. 100% of donation go directly to St. Jude for pediatric cancer research. I donated $1k to kick off my fundraiser and now need your help for the other $4k. 100% goes to St. Jude!
