The Cheer the Opportunities appeal is about providing a foundational level of support for a new program at Central Penn College: Cheer. 

New programs require new investments of resources to grow rapidly. Our student athletes on the Cheer Team will be vital members to collegiate competition, school spirit, and student engagement in our athletic programs.  

HOW YOUR GIFT HELPS

Your gift to the Education Foundation today will help ensure new grants can be made to support the purchase of cheer uniforms, equipment, and programming supplies. Gifts to this campaign will also be used to defray student team travel costs during the multi-season work this new squad will perform.

Our goal at the Central Penn College Education Foundation is simple: encourage giving from our alumni, community, corporations and other organizations, so that more deserving students can graduate from Central Penn and make their own contributions to the community and society.

COMPELLING FACTS ON COLLEGE EXPENSES

• The majority of our students require financial aid.
• The average Central Penn College student and family borrow more than 50 percent of the cost of education.
• Some students’ funding is exhausted due to limited amounts of financial aid available.
• Housing costs impact residential students’ tuition, but thanks to an innovative FREE HOUSING SCHOLARSHIP available only at Central Penn College, we are tackling the cost of education and affordable housing at the same time.
