Blue Ridge Health (BRH) is excited to participate in this year’s Drums and Dragons fundraising event! As rookie participants last year, we are ready to take our experience and make a “virtual splash” as we strive to eliminate health disparities among our region’s most vulnerable populations.

We are proud to be a patient-centered medical home for individuals across western North Carolina. Since our founding in 1963 as a Migrant Health Center, our goal has been to provide quality medical care to underserved populations. Today as a Community Health Center for all, BRH is proud to be a quality provider of Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Dentistry, Pediatric Medicine, Nutrition Counseling, School-Based Health, and Pharmacy Services in 8 counties across our region.

As more individuals fall into the insurance coverage gap, it only serves to highlight the importance of the work we do. In 2019, BRH served over 40,000 patients with 165,000 encounters.  Your support further strengthens the impact that we have on our communities and ensures the 48% of our patient population that is uninsured continues to receive quality care.
