Hello friends,
The worst thing that ever happened to me was losing my beloved Ben, first to schizophrenia, then to suicide. And I knew, if I were to survive, I must usher into my life a time of great healing. At first, I received great counseling in Chicago, then when I moved to Florida I could find no one, NO ONE who could help me in my grief journey.
I looked high and low, and most counselors (the ones who returned my calls) had no idea what to do with suicide grief. Thank goodness I was going through EFT Tapping Accreditation Training and learning the Emotional Freedom skills I needed to help myself and help others, but I still longed for someone to talk to who really understood how to help a grieving suicide-loss Mom.
When I moved to Phoenix I found out about EricsHouse, Healing after Traumatic Loss, through a friend and come to see Marianne Gouveia, the founder.
She explained these EricsHouse Points:
- EricsHouse serves clients who've lost loved ones to suicide, overdose, and other traumatic losses via in-person and ZOOM sessions worldwide
- EricsHouse has sessions for the Mind, Body and Spirit -
- Spiritual Direction
- EFT Tapping (that's me!)
- Reiki
- Health sessions - Breathwork, Guided meditations,
- EricsHouse centers around the work of Dr. Alan Wolfelt and his groundbreaking model of Grief Companioning which leads to a new sense of Wholeness
- EricsHouse is supported by donations so the costs for clients is low. Our services are either $30 a session, $25 a session (with a package of 12 for $300) and scholarships are available. We never turn anyone away for lack of funds.
EricsHouse introduces Grief Companioning which is not counseling. It is, instead, a way of being truly heard, accepted, understood, and loved in a way that opens the grieving soul to wholeness again. At EricsHouse people don't "get over" their loved one's death, instead, they create new lives, and a new relationship with their lost loved one.
Please consider supporting me in this worthy cause. You'll be helping people at the worst times of their lives.
With much love,
Jamie Lee Silver, in honor of Benjamin Lee Silver
