We need your help in spreading awareness about the abuse of domestic violence. We ask you to make a difference this year and join us in the fight! Register or donate today!
Domestic Violence is a platform that the Kurvacious Family holds very dearly. We experienced the loss of our sister at the hands of Domestic Violence two years ago, Ms. Naire McCormick. Last year's Face of Kurvacious winner Ms. Monique Ettienne was one of the fortunate ones and is a Domestic Violence Survivor. We need to bring awareness to this deadly issue and put a stop to Domestic Violence. The only way to do that is to educate ourselves, and others about the warning signs of abuse. We need to speak up and be engaged bystanders talking openly, and ending the shame and stigma that domestic violence and sexual assault survivors are burden with daily. Due to Covid-19, we are hosting our walk both virtually and in person. Hosting our walk/run event virtually presents an opportunity for everyone to participate in their hometown, at their leisure. We only ask that everyone join in on the walk on Sunday, October 10, 2021, which we have declared Fashion Over Fear Day. Make a difference this year and be a part of the fight to end domestic violence by helping us in spreading awareness and taking part in our 5k walk/run event.
Join us on October 10th Fashion Over Fear Day!
The proceeds will benefit The NoMore Project.
NO MORE is dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault by increasing awareness, inspiring action, and fueling culture change.
