First Responders of the Triad was founded in 2019 with a simple belief: the people who answer our communities’ calls for help deserve to know that their communities stand behind them.

What began as a local effort to give back has grown into a regional network of businesses, donors, community leaders, and charitable partners committed to supporting law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, rescue teams, and their families.

Through fundraising events, community partnerships, and direct contributions, we help first responder organizations secure important resources, assist families facing hardship or loss, and respond when disasters affect those who are often among the first to step forward and serve others.

Our annual golf tournament at Greensboro National Golf Club remains our flagship fundraiser, but our mission extends far beyond a single event. Over the years, First Responders of the Triad has supported public-safety agencies, volunteer fire departments, rescue organizations, disaster-recovery initiatives, first responder families, and national partners whose work aligns with our purpose.

Every contribution helps us turn gratitude into action. Whether the need is equipment for a local agency, assistance for a family experiencing tragedy, or support for first responders rebuilding after a disaster, we work to direct resources where they can make a meaningful and lasting difference.
