I love Moody Pond and I know you do too. After ten years in the Moody Pond Neighborhood, I know more people with a connection to the pond than I do those without. It's truly a treasure and, unfortunately, it's an endangered treasure. I'm hoping you can help.
As my part in our virtual fundraiser, I intend to collect at least 100 meters of surface milfoil fragments from the pond. These fragments are how the milfoil spreads and until we can hire divers, place mats and hand harvest, gathering the fragments before they take root is the best we can do.
I am hoping you can donate to support my challenge with a contribution of 5, 10 or 25 cents per meter, or 5, 10 or 25 dollars. I will try and post updates. My profile photo is the first, a several meter head start!
