Our 2022 Winter Goals:
1) Community Skill-Shares: Set up bi-weekly workshop program providing Columbia Heights residents with tangible skills to thrive at low cost under capitalism. [Making your own hair care products, growing your own food, professional skills, and more].
(2) Distribute 1000+ care packages: Supply over 1000 make-your-own bundles of house supplies to community members in Columbia Heights at no cost to them. Including soap, shampoo & conditioner, dental care, self-care products, cleaning supplies, masks, hand sanitizer, menstrual products, diapers and wipes, fentanyl testing strips, clothing, books, and more. With weekly hot meals cooked fresh by volunteers and community members.
(3) Keep Our Neighbors Warm: Fill needs-based requests from working families and unhoused neighbors in Columbia Heights for free coats, scarves, hats, gloves, hand warmers, tents, tarps, sleeping bags, blankets and more.
Thank you so much for your support of our community! We are a group of volunteers and take no salary, and this means every dollar donated will go back to the community!
Mutual aid is love, and we are grateful for your donations.
We Take Care Of Us.
