In 1996, I danced through my business fraternity, Phi Gamma Nu, and since then have been passionate about supporting THON. When DMAIG started the opportunity to participate in THON as an alumna, I was thrilled to join the challenge and continue raising funds and awareness for a cause that affects too many children and families.
This year, supporters from around the world will once again participate in the Hope From Coast to Coast 46-day challenge. As a community, Hope From Coast to Coast is setting a goal to collectively run or walk 3,000 miles in the 46 days leading up to THON Weekend (i.e., the average distance from coast to coast). Additionally, every participant is challenged to run or walk 135 miles in these 46 days, the same distance as the in-person relay from Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey to the Bryce Jordan Center. Please consider joining us in the challenge and/or donating to this year's Penn State Dance Marathon. FTK!
