With your help, we intend to raise enough funds to purchase a drilling rig. With this rig, we will no longer have to depend on contractors, paying higher fees to drill one well at a time. We will be able to go 10 times faster and help 10 times as many people.
Saydam Properties Group (SPG) has set an ambitious goal for our village: To donate $50K to Generosity Global's Mission Ball to buy a rig. To kick things off, SPG is offering a matching gift of $25,000. So, for every dollar you donate up to to $25,000, we will match it. Together, we will reach the $50,000 goal!
My hope is that every person on my friend list who like us, are fortunate to wake up every day with crystal clear water to shower and brush our teeth and sip clean water when we’re thirsty will donate. Mission Ball is an annual fundraising event of elegance, class and impact. Due to the COVID pandemic we had to reimagine and curate a digital event with substance.
On Nov. 21, 2020 we are coming together to raise money for clean water projects sub Saharan Africa. Last year at Mission Ball 2019, with your support and generosity, we raised over $85,000, drilled 9 wells and brought clean drinking water to over 16,000 people in Maroua, Cameroon.
This year, our goal is even bigger. With your help, we want to increase our impact. With your generosity, our goal is to purchase our first drilling rig, that will allow us to drill close 90 wells in a single calendar year, bringing clean drinking water to 80,000 - 95,000 people in Cameroon, Africa.
