Story
The House of Wise Words is a public elementary school in the Loma Bonita neighborhood of Tijuana, a hilly area about 2-1/2 miles south of central downtown. At the House of Wise Words there is a large network of Mixtec families from Southern Mexico AND several dozen US citizen children who are now attending the school after their parents were deported to Tijuana. Generous donations from Women's Empowerment International, the Bronner Family Foundation have already donated $25,000. This means we are one third of the way to our goal!
