Through volunteer work over the years with children, seniors and the visually impaired, and more recently with Wasatch Adaptive Sports and Intermountain Therapy Animals, I've learned about challenges facing individuals with a physical or mental disability. Proudly serving on the Board of Trustees for the Disability Law Center, I am regularly reminded of the depth and breadth of services the DLC provides to people who are disadvantaged, and am in awe of the tireless efforts by every one of the DLC's dedicated employees to raise awareness and foster acceptance of people with disabilities throughout the community .
