The Kappa Delta Chi Emerald Foundation will be participating in Giving Tuesday on November 29, 2022. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. The Foundation has set a goal of $2,500 for this fundraising campaign. 

The need to support members and the organization is higher than ever before. Members face many challenges like job loss, extreme anxiety and pressure. The Kappa Delta Chi Emerald Foundation will use the funds raised on Giving Tuesday to provide grants and scholarships to its members and chapters to support financial crises, professional development, leadership and educational programming to support its members in living, learning and leading with purpose.

To reach our $2,500 goal, we aim to secure pledges of at least $1,250 (half of our goal) before Tuesday, November 29, 2022. To help inspire giving, our Emerald Foundation board is matching every donation dollar for dollar up to the first $1250 raised. In addition, any one time gift of at least $10 as well as any new commitment to give monthly of any amount will receive a commemorative holiday ornament (pictured).
