Pandemic of Love Pittsburgh

Pandemic of Love Pittsburgh is a mutual aid community started in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic and resulting financial hardship being faced by so many. It is part of a bigger movement that was humbly spearheaded on March 14, 2020 by one woman, sitting at her kitchen table, wondering how she might help her local community. Shelly Tygielski's idea took off, spread all over the world, and now microcommunities like ours are popping up with the same good intentions.

A week of groceries, a tank of gas, a pharmacy order, or an overdue utility bill are just some of the daily needs we are trying to cover for people in need. Just a little bit goes a long way to a person who is financially unstable.

Use this platform to give what you can to these people in need. We will do the legwork and ensure that your donation gets into the right hands.

If you prefer to be directly matched with a community member, fill out a giving form at:  bit.ly/givehelppgh.

Love is the virus. Love is infectious. Love is the CURE.
