“A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices.” Many sing these words this time of year with joy, knowing they point to a promised baby. What might they mean to the women who come to Obria? They may arrive suspecting or certain they are pregnant. Perhaps unsure of how they would provide for a baby. They may know that they might be rejected by the baby’s father or their families. Fearful of the future. But when they see the ultrasound image of their baby, receive caring counsel from a staff member, and are invited to shop for free in the mother’s store, there is a flash, a tingle, even a bang of hope that things will be all right. It happens because of you and your giving in support of Obria's lifesaving work. We value you very much and wish you the merriest of celebrations this month.
