Story

Access to quality, affordable housing is a pressing issue in Alamance County. United Way is working to address this through the hiring of a Housing Specialist and instituting an annual housing forum, Housing Alamance. The goal of the event will be to have deep conversations about the housing needs of Alamance County and how to prioritize those needs. 17,825 households in Alamance County are considered cost-burdened or spending more than 30% of their income on housing.
