When I first learned about the Performing Arts Initiative, the idea went straight to my heart. The prospect of building a showcase venue for live performances in the Columbia River Gorge brought to mind a diamond tiara on top of a natural beauty!

Now that I am on the Board, I’m able to see first hand the determination, creativity and careful nurturing that is bringing this dream forward. This state-of-the-art, multi-use Performance Center has the ability to expand opportunities for our local talent at all age levels and will create a community hub to bring closer the many diverse aspects of our rich culture. Ultimately, it will also build stronger economic sustainability in our community.

Plus, just think how amazing it will be to see regional and national acts right here in our own backyard!
