In our neighborhood, nearly 50,000 souls experience daily food insecurity!  Help us nourish our families in need.
We have all been touched by great loss and suffering during this horrible pandemic, especially seeing families in our community going hungry!

Driven to meet this sharp and dramatic rise in food insecurity, the John O. Wilson Hamilton Neighborhood Center, Inc. has stepped up to the plate to put food on the plate for needy moms, dads, children, and grandparents living right here in Hamilton!

In addition to our longstanding and impactful Food Pantry, which provides monthly supplies of canned vegetables and soup, pasta, rice, and other essentials to qualified recipients, the Wilson Center is home to the Mercer County Senior Nutrition Program, and has organized and sponsored numerous free, critically needed food drives throughout the year.

From Thanksgiving Turkey Baskets filled with all the trimmings to multiple Produce Box Giveaways stacked with nourishing fresh fruits and vegetables, we have seen the need first hand, mobilized our resources, nourished families, and made a real difference in the lives of our neighbors!

In addition to fighting food insecurities, the John O. Wilson Center also:

• combats homelessness by providing emergency rent and utility financial assistance
• hosts free educational programs which address critical issues impacting our community including domestic violence, mental health/wellness, diabetes and other health issues, etc.
• sponsors annual Summer Camps, School Backpack and Christmas Toy Drives, and more!
