Paying for college can be daunting. Rising tuition costs and expenses such as food, housing, and books cause concern and leave many parents questioning whether and how they can afford college. But some parents are making it work by finding ways to lower costs, and a new book reveals their strategies.

Ron has been the “Your Money” columnist for The New York Times since 2008. He is also a New York Times Best-Selling author.

The Q&A will be hosted by Sara Goldrick-Rab, new SLA parent, Temple University Professor, and author of “Paying the Price”, featured on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah. This session is open to the public, and we welcome your support of Science Leadership Academy (SLA), a public partnership high school between the School District of Philadelphia and The Franklin Institute that promotes inquiry-based learning.
