I have joined the board of this amazing organization that is doing notable, scalable work in treating children and young adults with autism; giving them and their families hope for a life they never thought possible. The founder of this organization came to me when I was director of the Children and Family Resource Center desperately seeking help for her 2 autistic children. We had nothing... the schools, preschools had nothing... evaluation and diagnosis took months if not years. The most promising therapy was massively unaffordable. Autistic kids were getting kicked out of preschool programs and schools, repeatedly. Teachers struggled with skills to “deal” with these behaviors. Out of this despair Caroline founded St. Gerard House and began her life’s work to give families and children with autism a chance at joy and a meaningful life
Its not often we get a chance to change a life. Join my team and let's do this.
