Story

Please join Special Olympics Texas and the American Advertising Federation’s Austin chapter in a panel discussing the importance of disability inclusion within marketing practices.

THE BACKGROUND: “Mobility solutions” have become more prominent in the market, but consumers with a disability argue there is still a gap in authentic market representation and equitable CX solutions. In commercial efforts, brands often prioritize the experience of able-bodied consumers, while unconsciously marginalizing the experiences of persons with disabilities.

THE WHY: Next generation leaders should be encouraged and empowered to challenge the status quo within the industry. One area that needs immediate championing is: Disability Inclusion. Young and seasoned marketers will walk away with direct prompts to employ in their spaces to start advocating and taking action on behalf of this marginalized community.

This panel will take place on 04/27/22 @12:00 - 1:00 PM CST. We urge you to support our mission by donating to this campaign.
