Planting the Seeds of Happiness

After a long winter, our Older Friends are joyously anticipating all that comes with the change of season into spring. From the feeling of warm sun that spreads cheer, to the excitement of plant seedlings bursting from the soil, it’s the “little things” that can bring happiness to those who are often lonely and isolated.

That’s exactly why we hold our annual Flowerpot Painting and Seed Planting event, – to bring joy to our volunteer friends and older Bostonians!

Our seniors love joining our safe in-person or virtual CitySites Spring Gardening events where they gather with volunteers to paint pots, plant herbs, and get a chance to feel the warmth of friendship!

But we can’t provide these happy and memorable experiences without your help. It’s urgent that we raise $5,000 before March 31^st to make events like this one and other life-changing programs possible.
