Every year, Sigma Phi Epsilon stands up to sexual assault and gives a voice to survivors everywhere, especially on UNI's campus. I believe that it is imperative to have tough conversations and break the stigmas that lay out this issue. 

"Sexual assault doesn't happen here."

"It's the victims fault. She shouldn't put herself in situations like that"

These are some of the fallacies that plague the conversations of this issue. As men of SigEp, we are trying to raise awareness about the truths of sexual assault, so people know to never blame the victim, to know that it happens everywhere, all while we raise money to support the Riverview Center, who provides all advocacy support for UNI.
