Year over year, the video game industry continues to grow, reaching $150 billion in annual revenue in 2019. Esports is one of the fastest-growing sports within k-12 institutions and universities. Minorities consume videos at a higher rate than other ethnic youth groups, yet there is a large disparity from those who consume the games/tech versus those who create the games/tech. OUR MISSION is to increase the participation of minorities within the esports and video game industry so that there is an equal opportunity as new jobs and professions are being created.
We do this by helping minority youth develop skills within business-management and STEAM by exposing them and providing access to video game publishers, lm productions, sports and entertainment executives, professional athletes, and world- renowned artists.
