Mahalo to everyone who joined us at the benefit event on June 1st at Café Julia or during the livestream encore event on June 24th! The Legal Clinic (TLC) hosted an in-person event on June 1st at Cafe Julia in downtown Honolulu, and an interactive livestreamed encore event on June 24th from 5 to 6 pm HST to honor three "Guardians of Immigrant Justice", to provide updates on TLCʻs work, and to raise funds for our nonprofit and immigration legal services (offered free of charge to Hawaiʻi residents with financial need). View the 6/24 online event - with remarks from "Guardian" honorees U.S. Senator Mazie Hirono, immigration attorney John Egan, and KNDI Radio 1270 AM on TLC's Facebook page.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 by June 30th, 2022, to enable TLC to provide critical legal services year-round to low-income immigrants in Hawai'i. Donations are encouraged!
