It’s here! Giving Tuesday is a global campaign to respond to the needs of others during the holiday season. A generous Interfaith Works donor is providing a 1:1 match up to $10,000 total, so your support will go farther to help the neighbors we serve.
This includes people participating in the IW Rapid Rehousing (RRH) program, an initiative to help people in Montgomery County who are experiencing homelessness, many for the first time, quickly exit the shelter system so they get back on their feet and live without assistance. Some of these clients were knocked down by the COVID pandemic, experiencing a job loss or a cut in their hours that made it impossible for them to keep up with their bills and maintain their living situations.
Tanya Graham, IW Case Manager, knows well the difference even a small amount of funding can make. She works with clients in the IW Rapid Rehousing Program to connect them to the services they need, including housing, vocational training, medical help, and more. “This funding can encourage them and help them smile again,” she noted.
Can you provide resources and encouragement to all our neighbors served by IW?
