I am participating in a Sponsorship Challenge to benefit Tabitha's Heart, an organization that I support in Calcutta, India.  I wanted to invite you to learn more about the work Tabitha's Heart is doing and to support me in reaching my fundraising goals.

The mission of Tabitha's Heart is to empower families living in some of the poorest communities in Calcutta to break the cycle of poverty through education and training.  Since 2006, they have been providing school tuition, tutoring and a hot meal each day to students in Pre-K through 12th grade through an educational sponsorship program...Sponsors from all over the world choose a student to support by giving a monthly or annual donation.  These students would not be able to attend school otherwise.

Covid has created an unfortunate situation in India right now.  With very little income for those that are already poor, even more families are having to choose between paying for school or paying for food.  Tabitha's Heart wants to be ready to enroll more students into our program when school starts in the next calendar year by finding sponsors for those that are already enrolled and being supported by the general fund giving. .

I have been involved with Tabitha's Heart from its beginning.  Rachel (the Director) asked me to be a Board member. I have watched both the ministry and Rachel grow in these many years.  I am amazed at what the Lord has done, and is doing, through Rachel.  Her heart is in Calcutta India.
