We are excited to announce the birth of our son, Mateo. He was born 01/23/2020 and is doing well so far!! We feel incredibly grateful to be his parents. Thank you again for your prayers, support and generosity. We couldn’t have done this without each of you.

The Miller's Story

Life took Travis and Courtney Miller on a different adventure after marriage. As with many, they wanted to start their family immediately. However, they found out months later they were unable to have biological children – as anyone can imagine it was heartbreaking for them. They struggled to understand why throughout the next couple of years, and they dug deep into their faith to determines God’s plan and to seek His guidance. They determined adoption was the right path for them and began an incredible journey growing their family. They were blessed with their first adoption in August of 2017 with the arrival of Gabriel – you should see this little boy run and the cheeks he has that everyone wants to pinch. Not to mention how Travis and Courtney absolutely light up around him. The Millers always wanted several children and for Gabriel to have a sibling. Therefore, they have returned to adoption and are expecting another baby boy on December 20th, just a few short weeks away.

How You Can Help

The average domestic adoption costs between $40,000 to $50,000. Travis and Courtney will also need to travel out of state to meet and pick up Baby Miller and must stay at least 14 days (over the Christmas holiday) to finalize the process. And while a family usually has 9 months to prepare for a new baby, they have just a few weeks. To help Travis and Courtney with all of the expenses that building a family through adoption comes with, and to support their special journey, their friends are organizing a puzzle fundraiser. They are choosing a 500-piece puzzle that will hang in Baby Miller's room. If you'd like to join us, you can purchase a puzzle piece (or a few) for $20 a piece. They'll write your name on the back of the piece(s) you've purchased so that, one day, sweet Baby Miller will be able to look at the puzzle and read all of the names which came together to support and celebrate the Miller Family!
