Story

Ashton Washington 'Women Of Color' Annual Scholarship

As a woman of color born in the state of Mississippi, an HBCU graduate from Huston-Tillotson University and her grandmother a graduate of Rust College - Ashton Washington has decided to execute her mission of never forgetting where she comes from.

With this scholarship, she hopes to help excel a young woman of color to pursue her own dreams and have the opportunity to attend an HBCU in the state of Mississippi.

She lives by the Bible verse, “He must become greater; I must become less.” John 3:30
