Years ago in Nicaragua, a young woman dreamed of becoming a doctor. She was smart, determined, and driven to help her community—but she couldn’t afford the cost of tuition, books, or even the bus ride to class.

She’s not alone. In Nicaragua and Guatemala, many talented women face the same roadblock: the dream is there, but the resources are not.

Adelante Mujer was born to change that. We walk alongside women studying medicine and nursing, providing monthly financial support, encouragement, and a network that believes in them. Today, more than 95 women have graduated as licensed doctors, and dozens more are on their way—bringing healthcare to rural villages, serving in hospitals, and inspiring the next generation.
