Angel911 was founded by Sonja Gunter, a nurse, dementia educator, and caregiver advocate

whose passion for supporting caregivers was born from personal experience.

For ten years, Sonja watched her father, Aaron O. Seawood, live with Alzheimer's disease while

her mother lovingly cared for him throughout their 62-year marriage. She witnessed the

emotional weight, physical exhaustion, and unwavering dedication that caregiving requires.

That journey transformed her understanding of what caregivers truly need—not just medical

guidance, but compassion, encouragement, practical help, and time to breathe.

Angel911 was created so that families facing similar journeys would never have to carry that

burden alone.

Today, every service we provide is rooted in empathy, dignity, and the belief that caring for the

caregiver ultimately leads to better care for everyone.
