Apple Pies for Angels is an annual fundraiser that provides Christmas gifts for Children-In-Need through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Three years ago Apple Pies for Angels started with a crazy idea - a homemade apple pie fundraiser just in time for Thanksgiving could provide Christmas gifts for children-in-need. With a delicious recipe, Apple Pies for Angels started with 117 apple pies that provided Christmas for 44 children-in-need. Last year, Apple Pies for Angels provided Christmas gifts for 436 Children-In-Need. This year the need - and the challenge - is just as big as ever.
