Incorporated in 2018 by acclaimed choreographer and movement strategist Janicka A. Arthur, Art of VIII School of Dance is a pioneering institution redefining the role of dance in personal growth and self-expression for adults. Our studio serves as a dedicated sanctuary where individuals embark on transformative journeys, pushing beyond perceived limitations to embrace their authentic selves.

During the height of the pandemic, Art of VIII was uniquely positioned to address the critical needs of adults worldwide: access to physical movement, mental health care, and creative outlets. In September 2020, we successfully transitioned from a virtual studio to an in-residence location at Preston Hollow Dance in North Dallas, marking a significant milestone in our growth.
