What is Giving Teal Tuesday?
Giving Teal Tuesday is a one-day fundraising event for the Coastal Carolina University community. All alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends are invited and encouraged to participate. The goal is to engage Teal Nation to advance the mission of Coastal Carolina University. Giving Teal Tuesday will raise critical funding to support student scholarships, cultivate academic and leadership programs, impact Chanticleer Athletics, and more!

Where does the money go?
The CCU Office for Advancement and Alumni Engagement helps raise money for the university in many ways. We ensure that your donations go to the appropriate places, and have worked directly with the Coastal Educational Foundation, our nonprofit entity since 1954.

How can I give?
That's the easy part! Hit that "Donate" button on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, until 11:59 p.m. EST. You can make a gift in support of your specific college or three additional funds. Then, share your experience! Post about it on social media, and encourage (challenge!) your friends to give as you have.

Will my donation renew my CCU Alumni Membership?
Yes! The CCU Alumni Membership requires an annual gift of $35 or more, so as long as your gift meets that minimum, you're membership will be extended for another year.

Is my Giving Teal Tuesday gift tax-deductible?
Yes! Your gift receipt for tax purposes will be emailed immediately after you make your gift. Please consult your tax advisor for advice related to your specific tax situation.

How can Faculty and Staff get involved?
