Anonymous, Surgery and Flood

"My family and I have been displaced from a flood in our apartment home that has caused and been deemed a total loss as our home has become uninhabitable. As a single mother I try to provide the best I can and make my kids feel at home wherever we are. We have been living in a hotel room for over a month without the comforts/necessities that we’re used to which includes every day living items since ours were destroyed. Since I just recently had a major surgery to remove uterine tumors and was out of work for two months as well as one of my kids was diagnosed with a life threatening health condition, this loss couldn’t come at a worse time. Not to mention record inflation during a time when we’re literally feeling like we’ve been hung to dry. 

Update, we are in a new apartment yet sleeping on mattresses on the floor, nowhere to sit, and wondering each day if I’m going to have enough to feed my family. With the holidays coming up, I truly wonder how this will all pan out. Yet, I KNOW that my faith plays a huge part in all this. God will not leave us and we can’t wait to feel like we’re at home again.”
