Several years ago our family got the life-changing news that my dad had been diagnosed with a form of Alzheimer’s. It is a scary thing for any family and the disease has so many different facets, that it is really difficult to manuever through it all.

While we are not alone in our journey, I personally have struggled to make sense of all of it. I have been searching for a way to help other families during their journey which is something that I think my dad would want us to do.

We have decided to start this "Initiative" to raise funds that we can then donate to some of the bigger organizations along with other researchers, clinics and more, in my Dad's name. Also, at some point, we hope to devise programs and provide support to the families and caregivers in ways that we did not have or were lacking during the part of my family's journey.

My dad was a thinker. He was an engineer. He was, and is still, my hero. I want to do this for him. I want to do this for you. I want to do this for my family and friends and even for strangers.

I hope that you will join my family in the fight to not only end this horrible disease, but in the meantime, offer support and community to other effected by it as well.
