In 2019 I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. It was in my bladder and urinary tract. I was treated at memorial Sloan-Kettering ( MSK). My surgeon was Dr. Bernard Bochner one of the best in the country and a wonderful man. my bladder was removed along with my prostate and ureter and I was givenwhat’s called a urostomy. I had a 92% chance of a full recovery after five years.
  Unfortunately, 4 1/2 years later, I relapsed, and a lesion was found in my right kidney. After three months of chemotherapy my right kidney and ureter were removed by my surgeon. After 11 months of immunotherapy, a large tumor was discovered in my liver. My bladder cancer had metastasized. I had 22 sessions of radio therapy only to then discover that over 50% of my liver had become infested with bladder cancer tumors. In addition, one side effect of my immunotherapy was the impairment of my pancreas and my development of type one diabetes. Throughout this period however I had become very close with Dr David Aggen my oncologist. David like so many other physicians at Memorial Sloan-Kettering is a completely selfless, wonderful doctor. He is knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated to seeking a cure for my condition and giving me the best life possible along the way. Currently Dr Aggen has me on a new chemo therapy regimen that I am hoping bears fruit.
        Throughout this odyssey, I have learned that Dr. Aggen and my surgeon Dr. Bochner have cooperated for years on research concerning curing Bladder Cancer. My family and I have now decided to form a 5013C charity for the express purpose of raising money to further the research by doctor Aggen and Bochner to find a cure for Bladder Cancer.
         Please help me in any way possible to raise money to support doctors Aggen and Bochner’s research and to find the cure at Long last for Bladder Cancer.
